I bought a Gevalia coffeepot about one and a half years ago. This morning it died.

I called their customer support number, but only got their automated message center, There was no way to talk to a live person. Why do they give an 800# if you can't get a customer service person on line? Pressing "0" does nothing.

I was finally able to get a live person by pressing the fourth option concerning memberships.

I was told that their coffeepots are only guaranteed for one year!! They would sell me a new one if I wanted. I think this is a rip-off. I would NOT recommend Gavalia to anyone. 129a34f
