I quit the Gevalia coffee service over two years ago. I found a new unauthorized charge for $35.20 on my Credit Card".
I moved to a new address over two years ago and the online "order receiept" had all the old information including the old address/. Obviously I would not be at that address when UPS brought the coffee I NEVER ORDERED!.
Gevalia replied to my email saying that they would issue a credit when UPS returned the package'. However since no signature is needed, UPS would just leave the package and it would be up to the person living at my old address to contact UPS;.
I replied to Gevalia that this was not satisfactory|. I wanted Gevalia to contact UPS to return the package/. They replied that they could not do this,. I know for a fact that UPS can be instructed by the shipper to do this.
When I emailed Gevalia that I would give negative online reviews, I recieved an email stating that it was an "honest mistake" and no further unauthorized charges would be made.
I then recieved an email stating that they issued a credit for $13.95. THEY made an unauthorized charge for $35.20. They also try to get away with not refunding shipping charges.
I have notified Gevalia that I will contact my credit card company and file a complaint with the New York State Office of Attorny General, Internet Division.
