Arrogance and incompetence at Gevalia
I recently gave four orders to Gevalia, amounting to several hundred dollars. When the first box, with a two-person coffee maker, arrived, it did not include the 10-percent discount and free shipping. I was overcharged by $18.95. I called Gevalia, which is outsourced to Manila in the Philippines, and was told "too bad." Beware! When you order online, you are not informed of total costs. You have three areas of TBDs when you are told to hit enter for the final sale. The arrogant crew in Manila really stinks. When I called after five days, I was told that my other orders would not be shipped for a month. The coffee just is not that good, either. I canceled all my orders, all because the company refused to refund $18.95.

Too much coffee
Regarding account # GR709035****, John Fedak, 12270 Harrison Place, Thornton, CO 80241-Please do not send any more coffee to me as I still have 2 half pound packages and recieved another 4 packages that I requested not be sent. Any future orders recieved will be returned unless I myself requested them. This is stupid that I have to write one hundred words to say what I want to say, the initial 53 words I designated were more than enopught to say what I wanted to say. I will add a few to hot the minimum requirement to get the one hundred words! Thank you!!!

Sent wrong order and then charged for it
I have been a customer off and on for years. I discontinued my membership in June of 2009. I notified them via letter. I received a shipment in August 2009. I returned it unopened "Return to Sender". In late September I received a statement saying I owed them $5.95. I called them to inquire as to how I could owe them anything. I was routed to Manila, Phillipines first of all and had a difficult time understanding the person. Secondly, they were adament that I should pay the shipping to return a shipment which they had shipped in error. I finally spoke to a supervisor who, after some argument, finally agreed to write the $5.95 off but stated their policy now is to charge their customers the shipping charge EVEN WHEN IT IS A MISTAKE ON THE PART OF GEVALIA. I will never again be a customer.

No coffee, No coffee maker
I ordered the Free coffee maker and 4 pounds of coffee over 6 weeks ago and as of today I have heard nothing, seen nothing or tasted any coffee. So you can CANCEL my order and I will drink my STARBUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The great Gevalia caper
The Gevalia consumer hot line is: 800-438-****. You will get a real person. You can schedule what you want, when you want it. Yes, it is expensive coffee, but in my opinion, it has the best consistent taste I have found. I appreciate that this product is available in so many varieties and I have found no other coffee product of this quality that offers so much variety. I realize that none of this information will be of interest to the whiners. You guys are just here to be poor little victims. No, I don't work for Gevalia !

You didn't do anything wrong
I just don't want anymore coffee sent to me I have enough for now. Don't drink as much now that I am ill. So please don't send anymore for the time being. Thank You,TIMOTHY C. Gevila still sends coffee
I cancelled my membership two months ago and they still send coffee.They still debit my account and I am going to have to change my bank account to stop this.I do not want their coffee. I have more than paid for the coffeemaker they sent ,which is of poor quality. When they send coffee it is that nasty flavored stuff I did not order. I would recommend that anyone thinking about joining their club think twice before joining once you get suckered in they can do whatever they want.I am notifying the BBB and attorney general office.

No more shipments of coffee
i don't want anymore coffee sent to me please. i will order what i need when i need it thank you. i am pleased with the coffee,but i dont want anymore at this time so cancell my orders as of now henry c. couch account no. gv168144**** the prices have increased so i want need any for a while. will order as i need it thanks .this date is 7-15-2008 as of today dont send anymore coffee. please. i will send the payment owed on the last shipment, but i dont want anymore. thank you please..

I have received 5 to 10 spam emails since I canceled my membership with Gevalia. I was a faithful customer for years! I will never order anything from them again. I set up an email address for each internet vendor to see where the junk was coming from. No doubts! Their website became impossible to navigate if I wanted to "sign-in" or "manage" my account. The first time I called to ask about the status of my next shipment I reached a snotty female who informed me that I couldn't sign-in because I didn't do something right. The second call netted me a cancellation and an explanation that the web site was having problems. Every day it's more spam!!!!

the coffee is great and you get a great coffeemaker for free...stop *** you cheap *** ***
I placed an order with Gevalia for a birthday present for a friend. I was told that regular delivery was 7-10 days, so I paid for express delivery.
When I never heard from my friend to say he received the package, I called Gevalia and was told that the package went out regular mail. I was annoyed that my friend would not receive his gift on time, but figured I would just tell him he would be getting something a few days late. I get home from work that same day, and the Gevalia box is on MY porch. Regular receipt and no note that I requested be enclosed to my friend.
I called customer service to complain and got the standard "sorry for the inconvenience" line.
Now I have to drive 1/2 hour to get the gift to my friend & I was still charged extra for shipping. This is the 1st and last time I will be ordering from Gevalia.
:( :( I placed an order with Gevalia before Thanksgiving. We are now on the edge of a New Year, and still I have no order.
I have had to hunt them down to find out information regarding the order. They have my email, they took my money.. Still I have no order. I received an email on informing me that my order shipped out 12/21/09.
I contacted Gevalia on 12/31/09 and a rep told me it shipped out on 12/15/09...
The rep could not give me a tracking number, nor could she tell me how my order is being shipped this is insane... I have just emailed them for the 4th time.
